Product care

Crafted in Dubai for the modern, multigenerational woman, every Lamaaj swimsuit is made from breathable, high-performance Italian fabric with a buttery soft touch. This luxurious material is chlorine resistant, suncream and oil resistant, and blocks 98% of the sun’s harmful UV rays, offering exceptional durability without compromising on comfort.

At the heart of each garment is regenerated ECONYL® nylon, derived from plastic waste such as fishing nets retrieved from the ocean. These materials are transformed into high-quality yarns that are then woven into our fabric, merging elegance with environmental consciousness.

Our commitment to quality means your swimwear is made to last. With proper care, it will retain its shape, colour, and performance for seasons to come.

Caring for Your Lamaaj Swimwear

To preserve the beauty and longevity of your Lamaaj swimwear, please follow these care guidelines:

  • Mind the Surfaces
Avoid contact with rough materials such as rocks, jagged surfaces, or poolside tiles, as they may cause the fabric to snag or deteriorate over time.
  • Rinse and Refresh
Although the fabric is resistant to saltwater, chlorine, and oils, we recommend rinsing your swimwear in cold water after each use to help maintain its pristine condition. Gently remove any sand particles before washing to preserve the fabric’s smooth texture.
  • Gentle Washing Only
We recommend hand washing your swimwear or using the delicate cycle on your washing machine with cold water, never exceeding 30°C, and a mild detergent. Avoid soaking the garment for extended periods.
  • Avoid Harsh Products
To maintain the integrity and softness of the fabric, please refrain from using bleach, fabric softeners, or strong stain removers, as these may weaken the material over time.
  • Dry with Care
Gently press out any excess water without twisting or wringing the fabric. For best results, hang the swimsuit inside out to air dry in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight. We recommend avoiding spin cycles or tumble drying, as these can compromise the fabric's quality.
  • Storage Tips
Before folding and storing your swimwear, ensure it is completely dry. To help maintain its shape and elasticity, fold carefully without overstretching the fabric or waistband.
